In the midst of Fahraj village, right across the fortress, the end of a narrow alley, crammed between adobe walls you will find a traditional house where history comes alive. Farvardinn Desert Inn is where a 150 years old village house has been renovated and opened to visitors. Following Iranian vernacular architecture the rooms are large and set around a courtyard which features a beautiful fountain pool and 4 rose beds. Here guests will be served local food, local milk, yogurt and crops and vegetables of indoor greenhouse. You can participate in Persian-cuisine cooking sessions and enjoy heavenly delicious home-style Iranian food in the stunning vegetarian friendly restaurant of the traditional house. In the courtyard benches are provided for guests to enjoy a short chat over a cup of tea, to share some travel experiences and enjoy sitting under blue sky of desert while they will be amazed listening to Setar(Iranian music instrument) played by the host.
